ConfiKids Development Manager
(Part-Time, Remote)
Location: Remote (with occasional local travel to events)
Hours: Part-time (20 hours per week) during traditional working hours including some evening or weekend events/ meetings.
Compensation: $20,000 annually
Start Date: January 2026

Position Overview
The Development Manager will play a key role in leading ConfiKids, Inc.’s fundraising initiatives, donor relations, and grant research. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can manage multiple projects, work collaboratively with staff and volunteers, and contribute to the overall success of our development efforts. This role is responsible for bringing in 20% of the annual operating budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fundraising
◦ Plan and execute fundraising events, including one gala per year (with committee), auctions, and community outreach activities.
◦ Manage logistics for events, including venue arrangements, catering, and volunteer management.
◦ Track and analyze event outcomes to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

2. Donor Relations
◦ Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
◦ Call donors $100 - $999 to thank and ask what inspired the donation.
◦ Prepare and send donor acknowledgment letters, impact reports, and other communications.
◦ Assist in managing a donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or a related field.
• Associates degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with donor management software (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, DonorPerfect, Bloomerang preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
• Demonstrated passion for ConfiKids, Inc.’s mission and commitment to supporting children and families.
